On March 10, 2025, a group of researchers and practitioners from diverse disciplines gathered in London for a 1-day workshop to solidify the research community and advance a research agenda for systemic investing.
The event was timed to coincide with the 2025 Systemic Investing Summit which was held from March 11-12. The workshop and the summit were motivated by a shared recognition that current investment paradigms are insufficient to address the scale and urgency of today’s ecological, social, and economic challenges. The workshop sought to articulate a research agenda for an emerging field that explores how finance can play a transformative role in supporting systemic change. This report outlines the workshop's process and resulting outcomes, and solidifies a commitment to advancing the field.
